The cookies VeriCord uses and how to control them.

    Last updated: October 6, 2026.

This notice explains the cookies and similar storage VeriCord uses. It is the cookie notice described in the privacy notice. The website uses essential cookies and, where enabled, analytics. It does not use cookies to advertise to you or to sell personal information.

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device. We also use the browser's local storage for the same kinds of preferences. You can delete cookies in your browser. If you block essential cookies, sign-in and workspace settings will not work.

    Essential cookies

These are required to run the Service. They do not require a separate consent where the law treats them as strictly necessary.

Authentication. Session cookies keep you signed in and protect the session from being reused by someone else. They are set when you sign in and cleared when you sign out or when the session expires.

Security. We may set a short-lived cookie to defend forms against abuse.

Preferences. We store the theme you choose and, in the signed-in product, whether the sidebar is open and which workspace layout you selected. These remember a setting you already made.

    Analytics

If product analytics are enabled for the environment you are using, we use them to count page views and feature use, such as starting a review. That information is used to operate and improve the Service. It is not used to advertise to you, and it is not sold.

Where the law requires consent before analytics cookies are set, we ask before those cookies are stored. Essential cookies are still set so the Service can function.

    Third parties

Payment checkout is handled by Stripe and may set cookies on Stripe's pages to complete the payment and reduce fraud. Those cookies are covered by Stripe's own policy. Model providers are called from our servers and do not set cookies in your browser as part of a review.

    How to control cookies

Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Browser makers publish current instructions for this. Blocking essential cookies will sign you out and reset preferences.

The privacy policy explains the other personal information we collect and how to ask for access or deletion. Questions can be sent through the contact page.
