How a VeriCord review works, and what it leaves to the engineer.
What does VeriCord do?
Upload a drawing set and the contract specifications. VeriCord compares them and lists candidate findings, such as conflicts, omissions, and bad references. Each finding points back to the drawing sheet and the specification section it came from.
Does VeriCord replace the engineer?
No. Findings are candidates. A qualified engineer reviews them, records a decision and a rationale, and owns the sign-off. VeriCord is not a stamp and is not the Engineer of Record.
What files can I upload?
Plans must be a PDF, up to 500 MB. Specifications can be a PDF or a DOCX, also up to 500 MB. Name the review so you can find it later, or leave the name blank and VeriCord uses the plans file name.
What happens after I upload?
The comparison runs in the background. VeriCord reads the documents, compares the drawings with the specifications, and checks the findings that matter most. The review page updates as each step finishes. Open the report when it is ready.
What is the independent check?
A second model reviews high-value findings against the evidence, without seeing the first model's conclusion. The report shows whether the models agreed, partly agreed, or disagreed, and whether a reviewer later confirmed or rejected the finding.
What can I do with a finding?
Filter by discipline and severity, open the source pages, and record a reviewer decision with a rationale. You can mark a finding as a valid variance or keep it open as an issue. You can also export the findings. The export is advisory and is not an official sign-off.
Can I ask questions about a review?
Yes. Ask VeriCord answers questions about that job's drawings, specifications, and findings, and points back to the sheet, section, or finding. The thread stays on that job. It is not a second review and it does not sign the set.
Who can see a review?
A review belongs to the workspace where you started it. People you invite to that workspace can open it according to their role. A review started in another workspace stays in that workspace.
How do I start, and what does it cost?
You can start a review without a credit card. Plans for a larger workspace are on the pricing page. You manage a paid subscription from the workspace billing settings.
