Purpose
VeriCord is a technology platform that assists qualified professionals with constructability review, document coordination, issue identification, source traceability, and related project analysis. VeriCord is intended to augment professional expertise, established QA/QC procedures, contractual review obligations, and independent professional judgment. It does not replace them.
Candidate findings, not final determinations
Outputs generated by VeriCord, including findings, summaries, classifications, risk indicators, document comparisons, suggested references, and responses from Ask VeriCord, are candidate findings and decision-support information. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, context-dependent, or require interpretation.
You are responsible for evaluating the relevance, accuracy, completeness, and applicability of every output before relying on it for design, construction, procurement, safety, code compliance, contractual compliance, professional certification, or any other project decision.
Professional judgment remains with you
Engineering, architectural, construction, and other professional decisions must be made by appropriately qualified persons. Where licensure is required by law, those decisions must be made or supervised by properly licensed professionals acting within the scope of their authority and the applicable standard of care.
VeriCord does not approve, certify, seal, sign, or otherwise validate project documents unless a separate written professional-services agreement expressly provides for services through an appropriately licensed professional-services provider.
No guarantee of a complete review
Constructability review involves professional judgment and may depend on information that is incomplete, conflicting, evolving, or outside the documents submitted to VeriCord. VeriCord does not warrant that it will identify every conflict, omission, discrepancy, noncompliance, coordination issue, constructability concern, or other potential problem in a project package.
A lack of a VeriCord finding is not confirmation that a condition is correct, code-compliant, safe, constructible, coordinated, or contractually compliant.
Source references and external standards
VeriCord may provide links or citations to uploaded project documents, review findings, codes, standards, agency criteria, manufacturer information, or other external references. External references are for research and decision support. Their inclusion does not mean a particular standard is contractually or legally applicable to a project.
You must independently confirm the current version, jurisdiction, contractual applicability, licensing restrictions, and authoritative text of any external standard or reference before relying on it.
Ask VeriCord
Ask VeriCord is a document-grounded feature that helps you question project documents and review results. Responses may summarize or interpret available information. Review the cited sources and apply professional judgment before taking project action.
Assurance Review
If an Assurance Review is offered, professional engineering or other licensed professional review is provided only under a separate professional-services arrangement with an appropriately licensed provider. Unless a signed agreement expressly says otherwise, VeriCord is not acting as the engineer, architect, or other professional of record.
Your responsibility
- Provide complete, current, authorized, and legible project documents.
- Verify the accuracy and applicability of VeriCord findings and references.
- Maintain the human review, QA/QC, and professional supervision your work requires.
- Comply with client contracts, confidentiality obligations, applicable laws, professional rules, and licensing requirements.
- Do not use VeriCord as the sole basis for life-safety, regulatory, design-certification, or professional sign-off decisions.
